Meet Our Teachers

Elizabeth Blackmore is an experienced educator with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, with an emphasis on children with exceptional needs, from Idaho State University, along with additional training in literacy and teaching English as a second language. As a homeschool educator for 17 years and a mother of six, she has taught a variety of subjects in homeschool co-ops, preschool, K–3 classrooms, and science programs at the Idaho State University Natural History Museum. Now in her seventh year at HEC, Elizabeth enjoys creating hands-on, engaging learning experiences that help children explore, grow, and build confidence. She believes every child is capable of amazing things and looks forward to supporting each student’s unique learning journey.

Miss Maribel

Ms. Maribel is a wife and mom of two young children who has been homeschooling for the past four years. She has spent three years as a substitute teacher at HEC Riverside and also enjoys teaching in her church’s children’s ministry through fun, hands-on lessons. Before teaching, she worked as an administrative assistant, developing strong organizational and people skills that she brings to the classroom. Ms. Maribel loves creating a warm and welcoming environment where students feel supported and excited to learn. In her free time, she enjoys baking sourdough bread and finding creative ways to make learning fun.

The mission of Children’s Learning and Support Services LLC is to meet each child where they are and provide the individualized support they need to learn, grow, and thrive. Through caring relationships, hands-on and engaging learning experiences, and developmentally appropriate instruction, we create a nurturing environment where every child feels valued, builds confidence, discovers their unique strengths, and is empowered to succeed.

Miss Amy

Amy Ramirez is an experienced early childhood educator who earned her Early Childhood Education Certificate from Grossmont College in 2018 and has spent the past eight years teaching preschool. She has also coached softball and baseball for six years, combining her love of sports with mentoring children. Amy enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, and their dog, as well as camping, reading, and staying active. She is excited for her third year at HEC and looks forward to creating a warm and supportive learning environment for her students.

Miss Knighton

Cassia Knighton is a dedicated educator who is passionate about supporting students with different learning styles. With a background in commercial interior design, she later discovered a love for education while raising her two children. She began working with students as a noon duty substitute with Lakeside Union School District before becoming a Special Education Instructional Assistant. Over the past four years, Cassia has gained experience adapting instruction to meet students’ individual needs. Now in her second year teaching at HEC, she enjoys building connections with students and creating a supportive, engaging environment where they can grow in confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning.

Miss Sabrina

Sabrina Dull is a dedicated homeschool mom of three with a background in childcare, education, and program operations. She studied Early Childhood Education and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from UCR. Her experience includes working with children at the YMCA, where she supported early childhood development through preschool curriculum, social-emotional learning, summer camps, and hands-on enrichment activities. She also managed scholarship programs at California State University, San Bernardino, developing strong skills in program coordination and relationship building. Sabrina is passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences that nurture children’s growth, confidence, and creativity. As an HEC mom, she loves creating new adventures and making memories with her family.
